From the first grainy, flickering images to the stunning hi-tech vistas leaping across screens today, the eye of the filmmaker transforms a vision into a voice capable of influencing the world. Film has disturbed, inspired, angered and uplifted. It has shaped and influenced minds and societies, challenged beliefs and doctrines. It has revealed the ultimate beauty and the most depraved elements of humanity.

Film is the mirror of the human condition. Like it or not, it forces us to face the reality of ourselves and our world. Regardless of the scenario, the heart and soul of humanity remain the same. Our fears, hopes and dreams are universal and are merely splotches of paint on the same canvas.
